Core Element One – Textual Stairwells Report

This screen represents a single page of the stairwell report in a typical high-rise stairwell building.

The stairwell system in this example utilizes a number of multimedia reporting elements and is presented in an ‘outline’ style – which is the foundation document for all other multimedia reporting elements.

A stairwell report includes the some or all of the following descriptive details:

  • Stairwell Names
  • Locations
  • Floors Served
  • Landings Detail
  • Construction
  • Fire Rating
  • Access/Egress
  • Life Safety
  • Fireman’s Vestibules
  • Standpipes
  • Intercoms
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Access Control
  • Signage/Placards

Supporting multimedia elements can include but are not limited to:

  • Tables
  • Photo Arrays
  • Floor Plans
  • Walk-Through Video
  • CCTV
  • Geospatial
  • Sensor Monitoring
  • Asset Tracking
  • Mass Notification

A typical high-rise building can require fifty or more Core Element One reports – each with accompanying multimedia components from Core Elements Two through Ten, as applicable.
